By using the first-principles calculations, the structure, energies and electronic properties of four commonly exposed surfaces for the nesquehonite crystal were investigated. The needle-like nesquehonite whisker is well developed with smooth side faces and irregular hexagonal end faces. Surface energy results indicate that the (1 0 1) surface is the most stable surface and corresponds to the side face. The density of dangling bond has a positive relationship with surface energy and the (1 0 1) surface has the least dangling bonds. In terms of relaxed surface energy, the order of relaxed surfaces is (1 0 1) < (2 0 0)-H < (3 0 1) < (2 0 0)-M < (0 0 4). During surface relaxation, the changes in the length of Mg-O bonds and hydrogen bonds contribute to generating a more stable surface with a lower surface energy. The PDOS (partial density of states) of these surfaces are mainly dominated by Mg and O atoms. A small peak value is found in the PDOS of (1 0 1) and (3 0 1) surfaces, which have less exposed Mg-O bonds. Electron transfer causes changes in the length of Mg-O bonds. A more active surface will obtain a larger value of transferred electrons during surface relaxation. 相似文献

Nanosized materials are known to have the ability to withstand ultralarge elastic strains (4–10%) and to have ultrahigh strengths approaching their theoretical limits. However, it is a long-standing challenge to harnessing their exceptional intrinsic mechanical properties in bulk forms. This is commonly known as “the valley of death” in nanocomposite design. In 2013, a breakthrough was made to overcome this challenge by using a martensitic phase transforming matrix to create a composite in which ultralarge elastic lattice strains up to 6.7% are achieved in Nb nanoribbons embedded in it. This breakthrough was enabled by a novel concept of phase transformation assisted lattice strain matching between the uniform ultralarge elastic strains (4–10%) of nanomaterials and the uniform crystallographic lattice distortion strains (4–10%) of the martensitic phase transformation of the matrix. This novel concept has opened new opportunities for developing materials of exceptional mechanical properties or enhanced functional properties that are not possible before. 针对总装生产线精密装配现状,项目设计开发了一种机器视觉定位引导系统,主要实现工业机器人在运动过程中完成在线采集不规则工件图像、视觉定位、角度补偿及精密装配作业。该系统首先采集实时工件图像,利用改进优化的九点标定算法对机器人进行视觉标定可以提高算法的精度;通过预处理操作获取质量较好的图像,按顺序创建卡尺工具,采用加权最小二乘法拟合工件亚像素边缘,再根据相关二维测量算法获取工件中心坐标。最终将得到的位姿数据传送给6轴机器人进行精密装配任务。实验结果表明,该视觉定位引导系统具有现场环境下的高精度定位检测功能,自动化装配定位精度在X方向最大定位误差为0.0281mm、Y方向最大定位误差为0.026mm,足以达到自动化装配生产线的技术要求,具有较好的应用前景和参考价值。 相似文献

金属管道表面往往存在不同深度的腐蚀缺陷。金属磁记忆检测技术是目前唯一能对铁磁性构件的早期损伤进行诊断的无损检测技术,然而磁记忆原始信号本身并不能直接实现对管道腐蚀缺陷深度特征的定量化识别,进而无法实现对管道腐蚀程度的预警。针对该问题,采用支持向量机方法建立了管道缺陷深度的定量化反演模型,利用该模型对管道上深度为1~15mm的腐蚀缺陷进行了多次反演,反演结果的平均误差为2.398mm,平均均方根误差为3.205mm,结果表明,模型对管道腐蚀缺陷深度的定量化反演是可行的。研究结果可为该领域的研究提供一定的参考,且具有较高的实际应用价值。 相似文献

In order to explore the influence of Cu element on the morphology evolution of the in-situ TiB2 particles, the 10 wt.% TiB2 reinforced Al−5wt.%Cu based composite was prepared by mixed salt casting. The morphology characterization and transformation of TiB2 reinforcements caused by Cu element were investigated by multi-scale microstructure characterization and statistics techniques. In the case of controlled casting, 5 wt.% Cu addition was found to transform the TiB2 particle morphology from hexagonal plate with sharp edges and corners to hexagonal or tetragonal prism with chamfered edges and corners with the distinguishing growth steps both on the top surface and the side surface. The TiB2 growth in Al−Cu matrix followed the rules: nano-scaled spherical nuclei—polyhedron grains—chamfered hexagonal particles—hexagonal plates—chamfered particles with obvious growth steps. The adsorption energy of Cu on different crystal surfaces of TiB2 was caculated to reveal the influence mechanism and the results indicated that Cu was preferentially adsorbed on the (101(—)1)TiB2 crystal planes, devoting to the small aspect ratio of TiB2. 相似文献

An important difficulty associated with alkaline water electrolysis is the rise in anode overpotential attributable to bubble coverage of the electrode surface. For this study, a system with a high-speed video camera was developed, achieving in-situ observation of bubble generation on an electrode surface, monitoring an area of 1.02 mm2 at 6000 frames per second. The relation between polarization curve (current density up to 3.0 A cm?2) and oxygen bubble generation behavior on nickel electrodes having cylindrical wires and rectangular wires of different sizes (100–300 μm) was clarified. The generated bubbles slide upward, contacting the electrode surface and detaching at the top edge. Observations indicate that small electrodes have short bubble residence time and thin bubble covering layer on the electrode. As a result, the small electrode diameter contributes to smaller overpotential at high current density. 相似文献

Interface shear strength of geosynthetic clay liners (GCL) with the sand particles is predominantly influenced by the surface characteristics of the GCL, size and shape of the sand particles and their interaction mechanisms. This study brings out the quantitative effects of particle shape on the interaction mechanisms and shear strength of GCL-sand interfaces. Interface direct shear tests are conducted on GCL in contact with a natural sand and a manufactured sand of identical gradation, eliminating the particle size effects. Results showed that manufactured sand provides effective particle-fiber interlocking compared to river sand, due to the favorable shape of its grains. Further, the role of particle shape on the hydration of GCL is investigated through interface shear tests on GCL-sand interfaces at different water contents. Bentonite hydration is found to be less in tests with manufactured sand, leading to better interface shear strength. Grain shape parameters of sands, surface changes related to hydration and particle entrapment in GCL are quantified through image analysis on sands and tested GCL surfaces. It is observed that the manufactured sand provides higher interface shear strength and causes lesser hydration related damages to GCL, owing to its angular particles and low permeability. 相似文献

Shape from focus (SFF) is a technique to recover the shape of an object from multiple images taken at various focus settings. Most of conventional SFF techniques compute focus value of a pixel by applying one of focus measure operators on neighboring pixels on the same image frame. However, in the optics with limited depth of field, neighboring pixels of an image have different degree of focus for curved objects, thus the computed focus value does not reflect the accurate focus level of the pixel. Ideally, an accurate focus value of a pixel needs to be measured from the neighboring pixels lying on tangential plane of the pixel in image space. In this article, a tangential plane on each pixel location (i, j) in image sensor is searched by selecting one of five candidate planes based on the assumption that the maximum variance of focus values along the optical axis is achieved from the neighborhood lying on tangential plane of the pixel (i, j). Then, a focus measure operator is applied on neighboring pixels lying on the searched plane. The experimental results on both the synthetic and real microscopic objects show the proposed method produces more accurate three-dimensional shape in comparison to conventional SFF method that applies focus measures on original image planes. 相似文献

Solid solution-strengthened ductile iron (DI) exhibits outstanding mechanical properties due to the high silicon content. The strengthening by silicon addition is limited since additions above 4.3?wt-% lead to embrittlement. For a further improvement of mechanical properties, other alloying elements need to be considered. In the present work, the effect of various copper additions on the microstructure and the mechanical properties of solid solution-strengthened DI were investigated. The results show that no appreciable strengthening can be achieved by copper addition without the formation of pearlite in the matrix. The pearlite content increases considerably for Cu-additions above 0.23?wt-% and is independent of the cooling rate for the cooling conditions analysed. 相似文献
